My controller's left joystick and dpad switched places. Please help.
My controller (fantech shooter III) left joystick and dpad have switched places when playing games like efootball and f124, any help?

Are you experiencing them swapped in those games but OK in another, or swapped in all games you've tried?

If the swap is consistent in all games, then perhaps it's from the controller itself.
THUMBSTICK <> D-PAD SWAP
1. Press & hold the Start button & L3 for 3 seconds.
2. When the controller vibrates, the left thumbstick & D-pad button function has been switched.

That's from the controller's Quick Start Guide

Yes, the swap is consistent in all games I tried. But for some odd reason, my controller doesn't vibrate when pressing and holding L3 and the start button and it doesn't switch the input.

If everything else fails, remap this thing with Steam Input. GLOBALLY, that is. One of my gamepads got some weird-ass mapping issues (right trigger being button 12, go figure) and I did exactly that. Now it behaves properly in Steam and ALL games because globally.

How do I go about doing that?

Hey guys I dont know if you have found a way yet, but I tried clicking the Start AND the Turbo button at the same time, THEN pressing the joystick (or L3). And it reverted back to the correct default.
