is this scam?

i got a friend request from random person and he says
i put trade for an some sort of item in RUST and it's about 1500 USD.
and he said he contact me for warning and request photo for my purchase record of my steam wallet.

here is the conversation between him and me

Its a scam, just report and block the account.

One of the most common scams, yes.
Block the user and report him for trying to scam you, then move on with your life.

As said above, report and block. Don't waste time trolling them as also suggested, as that means they will not be dealt with as quick and other users in the meantime also engaging with the scammer could be at risk.
