Help, my Steam font bugged out
So I launch Steam as usual only to be greeted by white square shadows on top of all letters and tirquoise shadows on top of store images. I can't see my game titles or store details... Sometimes, letters in the "settings" section fix themselves for as long as I hover my mouse... I tried using SteamSetup, I reinstalled Windows (10), no luck. If anyone had a similar past experience or has a recommendation or effective solution, feel free to share?
Thanks in advance.

Try the following:
  1. Right-click the desktop shortcut to the Steam client and select "Properties" and the "Shortcut" tab.
  2. In the "Target" box add a single space and the text "-cef-disable-gpu." If Steam is installed in the default location the text should read:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -cef-disable-gpu
  3. Click "Apply" and "OK" to close the window.
  4. Exit Steam through Steam > Exit.
  5. Start Steam with the modified shortcut.
Did that fix the problem?

I had the same problem, and this fixed it for me. Thank you!

After you get things working so that menus are readable, disable "GPU accelerated rendering in web views" in Steam > Settings > Interface. This does the same thing as the shortcut with the added advantage of working if you have Steam set to launch at Windows startup.

Thank you! I actually started with the second method where I went to Interface, then ticked off all, then restarted. Fixed!
