Hot wheels unleashed 2 GFN/Steam - change language
Bought the game for my son to play online via GFN.
Immediately after first launch, the game start page froze however, the game continued to work in the background. we randomly clicked some buttons in trying advance to the game but nothing changed, screen still frozen. however, in the background we could hear the race started. it got obvious that we were changing stuff without seeing what we were doing so we decided to exit.
After relaunching the game, game started ok but we noticed that everything was in Spanish (I guess we changed language by mistake).
Unfortunately I cannot identify the setting menu for the language. we tried all type of options (in main menu and while a race is on) but language option doesn't show up.
Tried to delete the save game files from Steam Cloud files and start it "fresh" but deleting these files is not an option, only downloading save game files.
Help!
how do we change it back to English? I watched this YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muVF5oWyRKI) but we don't get that language menu after the game starts.

I'ts well know language issue choise english as primary and own local language as second in steam preference. ( if this is what you ment in what language is prefeable.

You need to understand firsdt choise will overrule others.

This is just steam here i have same issue at EA they see m local/language/ client and game will be installed in Danish, they are not wrong, but fail to understand how will you play coup games with none english ingame words. then you need to know every word in both language so you can translate it.

Dont forget many games has own language option if store support it, thats right click at each game and change them.

Ok. It looks like my primary language was not English but Romanian. I changed this and set primary to English, nothing else as secondary and neither additional language. (your link took me to that page)
Restarted the game but it's still in Spanish.

Now, as far as I could understand from you, this Spanish setting wasn't something that we changed ourselves by mistake, but an automatic language selection done by "the game" when it launched for the first time?
if this is correct, I guess this is just a sort of error which could be eventually fixed?

Something is definitely wrong because while I'm trying to find a fix to the language issue, my son, still playing the game, got a sort of in-game video which had German audio and English subtitles. all this while the game language remains in Spanish ... bizarre like hell!

Anyway, hopefully someone will be able to come with a solution to this issue.

Right click game and see language option.

Examplay RDR2 has several game devs language option.

You are also welcom to ask own game support and steam hub forum for the game.
thye should know this, and how to fix it.

thanks. it's not very clear to me the "right click" action. I'm basically using online so right clicking does not get me to settings.
However, right click in steam app (I use Macbook M1) get's me to some sort of game settings but English is selected there.

Tried game support options but I end up where I am told to contact game developer.
Steam hub forum is not here, where we are chatting? should I address this somewhere else? link? thanks.
(I tried to upload a photo of my print screen but i guess is not possible to upload an image to this discussion)

Thats why IT companys have split OS up, we are not same and solution and apps not same,

Again if you said you was mac user, i doubt i will have help you at all.

this is not old wars among the OS and whats best is simple as you see now how little it takes to things go wrong between us. and MS user know right click something typical brings up a option,

now i will walk away and let a mac user help you.

Do not take this the wrong way, i will rather go linux then mac, i guess it depend how you are use to things should be made. ( and if you have kept eye on the 3 OS latlely MS has lost alot of PC users support more and more go to whatever other Linux clone that look like a windows platform atm. ( most here say Mint or ubuntu, as i said not war, more like what ppl had enough of the way the do it. )

And MS once told us win10 should be the last OS, well i think they have only made it worse from themself with such statement.

Again gl with it. may a mac user explan you how to do.
