My status randomly goes into "Offline" today (can still access online features)
And it is starting to make me paranoid..
Especially after the last alledged DDOS that affected several services including Steam.

Its happening to me also, its not just you.
Clearly a issue on Steam's friend list servers.
Granted there could be a possibility between that the DDoS and the friend list online settings could be connected, but we would only be speculating.

Give it some time, maybe next upcoming Tuesday for Steam's regular maintenance, they might fix it, that or wait til it becomes a issue so badly that Steam would have to sort it out.

Try your best to not be paranoid, and if it gets bad, just take a small break away from Steam for a time, everything will be okay.

That just happened to me(Steam said Offline near my profile pic) but never said "No internet connection" like it usually does.
I wonder whats going on.

Same, but I fixed it by re-signing in in the friend list.
