Gift Sending Error and No Response from Support

Hello,

I spend most of my day working, so I only get a few hours in the evening to play games. Today I wanted to gift Battlefield 6 to my friend, but since this morning I’ve been getting the following error:

An unexpected error occurred. Your transaction has not been completed.
Please wait a few minutes and try again.
If you continue to see this error, please contact Steam Support.

I added $70 to my Steam Wallet, yet I still can't send the gift. I also reached out to Steam support, but I haven't received any response for hours.

It is unacceptable that the service does not function despite the payment being made. Please explain the cause of this issue and provide a concrete solution.

wait for support to respond or use a different form of payment. wallet funds have been getting restricted from being used to purchase game gifts.

same issue with my mum when she tried to send me a birthday gift. All they say now is she has to use her credit card to purchase a gift and the money in her wallet is now only available for her to buy games. At 78 she isn't going to be able to use it all on games before her eyes fail and its now passed the 14 days and they won't refund her the money. I'm not happy
