Steam Client Update fails on Windows
Hello,
my Update installation of the steam client keeps failing with the following errors:

I already tried running it as admin and use the the setup.exe as a repair install. Anyone ahs any tips?

Bad NTFS, are you use a exfat formanted drives. ( typical external formatted driver that try be a formatted drives that support linux mac and pc media, then steam want a NTFS only.

i can only ask , only you know how yort driver is formatted here.

I checked it and all Partitions are formatted in NTFS

Run steam.exe as admin, one time only and hope steam can fix itself.

Feel free to ask steam support why they have so many few steam user update own client.

ps.
All you can make sure all is update at that PC. ( BIOS and its drivers. )

You can also try check PC. ( google how to do. ) its more make sure own system dont have other issue, or MS can fix itself so update do its job.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth
SFC /Scannow
chkdsk c:
chkdsk d:
chkdsk e:
chkdsk f:
chkdsk g:
chkdsk h:



ps.
Some old advice is reinstall steam over current steam, to fix whatever cause this.
