As the title I need help with steam please anyone

To play the beta of black ops7 I moved my steam version of black ops 6 to an external ssd and then sub gamepass , installed cod via gamepass and played it , then when I was finished I deleted gamepass version , downloaded my steam version and it won’t load , it won’t start , I’ve looked into it and found a post explaining the bootstrapper could have an issue , found that and it showed the error that wasn’t working ( atvi-randgrid sr wont load ) and I then read that I needed to reinstall windows which I really don’t want to do , so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game a few times trying to get it to work it self out which didn’t work.

I then remembered I had a copy on my ssd so I tried it and it updated as it was pre beta and it runs fine from the ssd , if I move it via steam to the main drive it does the same and won’t load , but I’ve moved back to the external ssd it runs fine , what do I need to do it make it run again on the internal ssd ? I’m hoping someone on here that’s smarter than me can help me out
