Why is Steam forcing me to install to D:\SteamLibrary?
I have all of my games on my external ssd but when i try to add the D:Games\steamapp\common as the install directory it is just creating a new D:\SteamLibrary and not finding any games.

EDIT: I was able to delete the D: drive from Storage but now when i choose the directory that the games are installed to it wont let me choose it because it's not empty. Of course it's not empty that's where my games are. Is my only option to start all over?

Just select D:\Games\ nothing within it. You're most likely selecting the steamapps or common folder. Those are not your library folder.
