Leave the steam market page up of whatever item you are trying to buy then confirm it on your phone and it will work.

I am having the same problem and leaving the page up isn't possible. As soon as you click on the checkout button, the page changes and tells you to authenticate in the app. You then authenticate in the app and nothing happens. Just went through it 3 times and to no avail. Never had to authenticate in the app with purchases previously.

Just from reading the first line of your paragraph i can tell you that you are not following my instructions correctly because its worked for me and everyone else.

What page are you talking about? I add everything to the cart and then click on checkout. The page then disappears. What am I missing?

You said "I am adding everything to the cart" Which implies games because the steam market has no cart, anyway the fix i mentioned before works.

No, it does not imply games. Have you ever tried completing a badge by buying the trading cards you're missing? It asks if you'd like to buy all of the cards that you're missing and then adds them to a cart for you. Then you click on the "Place Order" button to checkout. I would post a screenshot of it if I could.

It does imply games and i feel like you are trying to cause arguments for no reason so im blocking you now, dont expect another response.

Whatever. I really don't care. You're completely wrong about this. You started the argument by putting words in my mouth. Sorry that you're not used to people telling you that you're wrong or that you're opposed to people that don't agree with you.

This is Steam, I could go into all the things wrong with it but I will just get banned again by a angry mod. Just remember the one key thing, "You Own Nothing" here and you will be fine, treat it as such. They will not give us ownership for anything here, if you start building up things you best have good protection and never ever friend anyone. Make sure to have back ups of the back ups of the back ups of every single purchase and transaction, keep all this on a separate device that way you don't loose it when you get hacked.

Another note, Many of the older games will not work on never devices, make sure to read up the older games to make sure they are still supporting it. I have had the same problem you are having, It might be due to the new update, I tend to buy things right when a update is happening and It throws me for a loop until I shut down steam and restart to make sure it's fully updated. If still does not work, you will have to wait for next update and pray it works.
