Anybody else's store being incredibly slow around these hours?
I'm not talking about download speed btw. I'm talking about just images / trailers loading in. It's so slow that at times for an entire store page to be fully loaded it takes about a minute, when usually (about 6 hours ago for example) everything loads almost instantly.

I got full speeds for my internet and no other website / service I can find is lagging, it's just Steam, and it started happening whenever they updated the store with the new search bar.

Things I tried:

Clearing Steam Download Cache
Clearing Steam Webbrowser Cache
DNS Flush
Switching DNS servers
Various Router settings messed with (such as MTU or Port Forwarding)

It happens on the Mobile App of Steam aswell, so I'm fairly certain it's not on my PC's end.

It depends on how many are using the store at any point in time.

I'm from the UK and usually browse the store at 09:30am and at 7:30pm and have zero issues.

I just found it weird that until last week ish I almost never had prime time issues, maybe for like 10 minutes here and there, but now it's been rather consistent

You could try clearing Steam's cache and see if that helps.

I would not have suggested it if you had included it in the original opening post.
You also did not mention Mobile.

I have zero issues on the Desktop client nor on Mobile, so I can only suggest.

Reboot your router? Reboot your Mobile?

I've had consistently good Steam internet speed (page loading, downloading, etc) for years. The last several days it is horrible. Featured sales page loading at a snail's pace, game download speed measured at 140 Kb per sec vs 350 MB per sec, etc. I tried the suggested fixes and they made zero difference. Internet connection is fine on all other visited sites. Steam is horrible!
Yeah, I get good speeds for about 5 minutes, but then it is up and down. I switch to another nearby server, and it repeats. It really annoys me, especially when I'm trying to download a large game.

no, my speed is consistent, maybe its because you're pc is next to your local mcdonalds :GDNormal:

you are education is showing
Could be just be steam event sale, he ment, this happend to many random steam user every steam sale. and its actual more your ISP that has congested area.

Why do you do that, "Various Router settings messed with (such as MTU or Port Forwarding)" that require you know the consequence of network settings and what your own network can handle it.

And sound like yuo was already a NAT configurated router, or you will not get the data in the first place.

i think you have made more problem for yourself then you read other past bad advice.

Switching DNS servers
Your own ISP DNS server should be the best and fastest, all other will be long and further away. ( nothing wrong in test this at example google server but stay wiit google server i will not, all people over 20 years with a little IT knowledge know them, they can be overcrowded DNS server this is know as dropped DNS look up request, yes they do that they was made like that.

This is why several ISP had several DNS server , now they use isp so they can controll how many per server there is.so they dont get overcrowded, learn from past 5 chose of DNS server and ppl are predictable and neever pick 4 DNS server , you see the problem here. with ppl choise.

So can you please update router firware while you are at it then reset it to default again.
most have a wizard with NAT configuration, thats typical standard today, almost a i have to tell them nothing to get them to work.

And you dont explan mobil is on wifi or has its own mobil gateway, so even that is a prolem.
if mobil use own mobil gateway that has nothing to do with your router. unless both use wifi

Stop use wifi router thias is well know you have to share bandwid through the air.
this is why latency increaase with wifi and VPN ( as fare we know today cable/fibe wins over lesser technology and it has been this way always , also raise the issue why will a pro gamer that play lets say 4 to 8 hours per day even use that crap at all, sooner or later yuo will get issue with wifi, just like damage cable/fiber , you just increse it with wifi tech in itself.
anttna issue signal issue ( and some old past has been tell user use bridge mode in a router ) more latency, ( know the diffrence in emgency fix and not. ( gamers like low ping this means low latency. ( also matter per packets sent though internet. or wall plau to your ISP take over with FIBER only, but you forgot as user to game server and back again to you, + other steam user that also use wifi. ( you lag more then other cable user. ) common knoiwledge and why wifi usre should technical not be allowed to play games.

Again this is a steam issue and game devs problem, or should i said steam user own problem because this has been this always, play wiht bad netywork is your problem.

And again i will raise the issue if such connection is so great why do Esports Tournaments not use them. ( i bet you already know why. )

ps.
If you miss the mobil is one wifi/mobil own network and not a cable pc device, what has that to do with pc cable to router and isp Fiber solution, ISP will never use wifi that is a end custommer solution crap only.

Sure the could do a emergency repair, but that is not a final fix ever.
also know as use whatever means to hotfix something lets say a a product replacement that can cause such. ( this is well know hotfix,if needed )

I could just have said delayed per packet transmission, but i bet you will not get it. ( so yes wifi ) is great to check mails and that all, i have no more positive info about, and any tech person can tell you same.story.

You also forget we have no clue here how many device that use 5g 4g 2.4g on your network.

So technicaly you could have bottleeck at own home network with lets say a 1gbit line to your ISP

wife + 2 kids , you have no bandwide, with so many users with IP radio kids consol and so many streaming option in top of this. ( be happy we bother explan this. ) because how can we know you are the only one at own connection. ( thats is not even normal to have all connection for yourself today ) even i have 2 pc online every day.) + game consol at liveing room then i'm there and feel like play some RDR from the past.
