Steam do not make software for other game brand company tiltes ( how will they know files names and change in them though all the updates they can do . )
ps.
what prevent you from locate its file folder and wipe it and make hide, to clean up here and now as best you can. ( this is not a uninstall fix for game devs this is a game title folder wipe )
Oh, I never even installed it, so there are no physical files to delete, I simply want the "attribution" removed from my account. I certainly imagine it is to do with the app's playtest status, though you can remove demo keys from your account very easily, and even beta versions from the support page, but not this.
Sorry you most be a seleted grp. only way you can get offers like be a test person, ( could be part of the problem here. ) we other do not have the offfer or added to library at all.
"Join the Space Station 14 Playtest"
You can try ask steam support for or suggestion, how to remove it.
What process are you trying to follow?
Go to game page in your Library.
Click on Support in the ribbon under the Play/Install button.
Select "I want to permanently remove this game from my account".
Click "Ok, remove the listed games...."
Done.
That's all I did to remove the Playtest from my Library.
Huh, you're right, that does work. I was going to the main support page and searching for the game (since it wasn't on the recent list), which only gave two options that did nothing. But for some reason the Support via the library page (and I never even noticed there was a support tab there) gives the full page of options. Thanks!
As a side note, "Complimentary" is the payment method for everything the Steam store gave you for free. A remove link, to my knowledge, is only shown for F2P games.
