refund on steam and have pending steam balance
Hi yall, just refunded a game on steam due to issues and planned to use the balance on a different game, does anyone know why you get pending steam balance after a refund ?? and how long it can take to clear

Why? That's how banking works.

It typically takes 24 hours for the pending funds to become available for use.

whilst this makes sense if it refunded back to my card,, it was refunded back to steam balance, so really, they just keep the money

Cancelling/removing the transaction and giving you the credit back in your wallet also takes time to complete.

They aren't keeping your money for no reason.

While refunding to wallet is typically within 24 hours during a sale that timeframe can change and why it is currently pending.
