Someone i dont know added me and told me someone used/copy my profil

Hey guys,

first of all im not using Steam that often and all this is kinda weird for me. Also english is not my mother tongue.

A few Days ago a Person i didnt know, added me on Steam. Today this person told me (and send a picture) that someone with my Profilpic, Name and Stuff bougt him something in a Game or stuff. He also asked me if i was this person but i dont know him and i dont have any activitie in my buying list in Steam.

i told him that im sorry for his situation but i cant help him and after that i just removed him from my List. He start talking about other ppl i should add on Discord....

Anything i should do now? im super confussed.

Correction, someone you don't know sent a friend request and you accepted. Randoms that do that are quite often scammers and

heads that will try to trick you into giving them access to your account and/or transfering you items to them/their alternate account.

Report, Ignore and Block them.

Then I suggest you STOP accepting random invitations. I've had half a dozen invites this month and I've played 0 games and haven't even shown as logged in. The only way these randoms get a link to my account is by going through the forums and inviting us that us it hoping we'd be gullible enough fall for their scams
