Steam Launcher unable to connect to server
Recently, I've experienced issues with my Steam launcher. After a long hiatus, I decided to play one of the few games I downloaded from Steam. However, I have trouble logging in to the launcher. I tried reinstalling Steam twice but to no avail. Although the installation was a success, I ended up getting stuck on the "log in" screen (see attachments).

Yesterday I tried tricking Steam by selecting the "Help, I can't sign in" option, hoping that it will somehow log me (or detect) in. I clicked home and tried to sign in from there, but then the launcher told me that I was unable to connect to the server (despite being connected to WIFI). I have no issues with logging in or using my mobile Steam application or another launcher (Paradox launcher).

I also tried several solutions that are often offered, such as running Steam launcher in admin, removing it from Firewall, or even disabling my antivirus. But again, nothing changed. I have no idea what caused the issue since Steam Launcher used to work just fine. However, I remembered that Steam tried to update itself once but was unable to do so due to my laptop storage being full, so I tried clearing some space up (currently left with about 19 GB). My launcher has been updated but as I said, I can't log into the launcher for reasons explained above.

I will attach several snapshots and logs from the Steam folder to see if anyone can help. Any assistance will be much appreciated!

I have had this same issue for over a week on Windows 10 but I think I might finally be out of the woods after so much troubleshooting. YMMV, but the last thing I tried was to go into services. (services.msc) and turn off Steam Client Service, turn it from manual to automatic, and restart it.

If this doesn't work I have a workaround that can at least let you log in to steam in Offline mode and play your downloaded games I can let you know about.

So I tried following your step recently and it still doesn't work. My Steam Launcher still can't connect to the server. Honestly, I can still play my Steam games just fine, just not connected to Steam. I'm interested to hear your solution.

My not a solution solution was to turn on airplane mode when you open steam and you can at least access your games. If you need to log in I found airplane mode helped a QR code populate so you could use steamguard to log in. You would be in offline mode in both these cases which is why it's not a real solution.
