Steam wont let me buy DLC of a game i own
I have Assetto Corsa on my steam family sharing, it shows up in my library and says in the page that its in the steam family sharing, same for one of the DLC i have. But now when i try to buy another DLC, it doesnt let me buy the DLC saying I need the Base Game. Pls help

You must actually own the game. If you have it because of family sharing, then you are simply borrowing it. That's not owning the game.

Having access to a game through family sharing and owning a license to the game that is attached to your account are two different things.

You need to purchase the game yourself or gift the DLC to the family member that actually owns the base game.

Could always just gift the dlc to the person that does own the game on you family account, then you will get access to it.
