Error while redeeming gift card
I just bought a gift card from CVS(used the self checkout if that matters) and when I enter the code into steam it says "working" for a while then says that there was an error redeeming the code and nothing else. The card is activated, it says so on the receipt but I just cant redeem the code. What do i do?

I have the same issue right now. Picked up a 20 dollar one from a Speedway gas station a couple of hours ago and received the same error. Went back to the gas station maybe 20mins later and was told that I would have to contact Steam and they showed me on the reciept the activation codes. I did buy another 20 dollar one while there and tested it as well and got the same problem which leads me to believe there is something up on Steam side of things.

maybe it is just a steam issue ill wait some time i guess

Also, there was a link in the support page about sending pictures of the card and reciept in. When I get home from work tonight I'll try the codes again and if the dont work, I'll submitt them in.
