Steam doesnt allow me to buy Trading cards!
I´ve been triying for the past 3 days to complete a Badge, but everytime i click on "Buy remaining cards on the Market" and then confirm the purchase, the buy is cancelled because "You have too many purchases without confirmation, wich i dont have, nothing shows on my steam app or anywhere.... Help!?!

It's an IP rate limit.

Either change your IP address or purchase each card individually.
Havent tried the IP thing, but buying them individually doesnt work either :steamsad:
IP address didnt work either, but thank you anyway!

What is the full error message you receive when trying to purchase the cards?
It just changed to "Sorry! We had trouble hearing back from the Steam servers about your order, Double check whether or not your order has actually been created or filled. If not, then please try again later"

I'm having similar issues, but I haven't purchased anything since August, so why would my IP be limited?

its the way the internet works now. you are no longer the only one using that IP address, its now shared.

You're suffering the woes of CGNAT.

You hit an API quota limit. This quota limit is IPv4 based. If restarting your router doesn't help, you'll have to wait it out.

IPv4 addresses are not unique anymore. As there are more humans (8 billion) than IPv4 addresses (4.2 billion), ISPs have chosen to route users together on an identical IPv4 address. This technique is known as CGNAT.

For Valve's community market API this bundled together group of users looks like a single user.
Thank you for explaining it!!! It is working now finally i just hope it doesnt become a recurring issue

While that may explain the IP rate issue, there's so many more problems going on at the same time.

I was finally allowed to at least attempt buying cards again without that particular warning. Now it just asks for confirmation (on phone) which would be fine, but the confirmations that come through have no explanation of what you're approving, but I approved them anyway. But then the transactions simply don't even complete and now there's no message at all as to why.

It goes through the buying and approval process but nothing actually happens.

Steam as always had weird stuff happening and some dont even make sense, the most basic example i can give is: for me its constatly bugging and its super slow (99% of times) loading pages

I'm having this same issue too, tells me to confirm on phone, do so, doesn't advance and just stays still, no money withdrawal and no items
I think the best thing to do is to be patient, but it is annoying af XD

This is happening to me too. I’ve bought cards in bundles multiple times in the past and this is the first time seeing an email confirmation. Even after confirming the e-mail nothing happens so I guess this is just a temporary thing.
