I'm having an issue where my recording volume for voice in steam recordings are far too loud and can not be adjusted. No matter, if I set my input volume to max or nothing at all, my voice can still be heard at the same volume in the recordings.

I've tried:
- disabling automatic volume/gain control
- disabling echo cancellation
- turning off voice transmission threshold
- replugging my mic

I use a Corsair HS80 wired headset and run windows 11. If there is a fix that doesn't involve changing my mic volume through Change system sounds -> Recording -> Changing the volume of my mic, please help.
