Why is it so hard to actually delete my own comment history so hard?
I don't wanna see just a little trash can next to it i want it gone

Comment history cannot be deleted as it is a record of your total post history.

you cannot delete a thread that you started after 7 posts

it also seems that you cannot delete them if a thread is locked

but i can go back to my first comment and still delete it

this will not remove it completely, though

mods will still be able to access any posts you made
