Trading a game wich is mine in other profile?
Hello! Sorry for my english, it's not my main language. Few years ago I recieved a game as a gift from my brother in steam, but somehow it opened a new steam profile and the game is that profile's property. Can I trade games between two profiles? I tried and I got an error screen, that the profile cannot trade. Or can I merge the two profiles somehow? I want the games to be in one place. Thanx for the answers!

No games can not be moved to other accounts. It is bound to the account that owns it. And two accounts can not be merged into one.

You got an account from your brother with a game on it which is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement.

Secondly all games are tied to the account they were activated on. They cannot be transferred to another account and neither can accounts be merged.

It’s not like he registrated a profile and gave it to me, he tired to by and add the game as a gift in steam to my account. As a gift card or something like that. There wasn’t any shady thing in it.
Anyways, thanx for the answers, I will use both profiles then.
