Need help with buying red dead redemption 2.

I bought RDR2 when it came out on steam years ago and it's linked to a old rockstar account. That Rockstar account has since been deleted and I'm doing a clean install right now. Will the game allow me to create a new rockstar account or how would I go about re buying this game if I can't play it? steam says even if I re buy a game I won't get a new Key so I'm confused on how re buying the game won't work.

You need to contact Rockstar support an unlink the account since it is done on their end.

The first reply is the answer. If that is fruitless and it won't happen, you would have to buy the game on a new Steam account and link it to a new Ubi account.

There is no other way sadly.
