I can't install Steam on my PC.
I downloaded the Steam installer. I opened it and selected the language. It says Steam is installed. But when I click the icon, nothing happens. What should I do?

Check taskmanager if its running.
Is it set to run when you start your computer?

Try checking your task manager if it is running
if it is running then close it by clicking on steam and clicking end task
Steam will force close. After that, try opening steam again
