Windows?? What, no! This is the "Steam" client I'm taking about. The "Screenshots and Recordings" folder inside the game library where you brows any screenshots and recording you take while in game.

Currently, Steam does not offer a built-in setting to disable automatic playback of recordings when browsing that folder in the game library. Users have reported this behavior, but there’s no toggle or option in Steam’s settings to prevent videos from autoplaying when flipping through screenshots and clips. If this feature is disruptive, your best bet is to submit feedback directly through Steam’s client (Help > Steam Support > Provide Feedback) so Valve can consider adding a toggle in future updates.
