Share an image from your profile to the forum?

Is it not possible to do this? Is the only way to embed an image is to upload it somewhere else and use [img] tags?

Yes, Steam doesn’t let you directly embed images from your profile into forum posts. To share an image, you’ll need to upload it to an external image hosting site (like Imgur), then use [img]

Seems odd having to go through a third party site to do this.

You just post the link to the image you are wanting to share and the forum will resolve it automatically. Like so:

Nevermind, I found it. So many redundant profile features that make this more convoluted than it needs to be.
