can point shop items get removed from account?
so i recently got very close to 2000 points and theres an avatar frame that i wanted to get, so i gifted a very cheap (18+) game to my friend as a joke. its midnight where she is right now so she hasnt accepted the gift yet (which i doubt she will)

my question is if i purchase the avatar frame with points will it get removed from my account when she rejects the gift or will i have negative points?

Yes, if a game is refunded for whatever reason (not accepting will result in that) the points you have got for that purchase will be substracted from your total points and if that gets you to a negative total, your last purchases from the point shop will be refunded. You have not discovered a way to get free points.
