FFVII Remake Integrade Card Drops Bugged - Any workaround?
So - starting off to try and save dozens of non-helpful responses here:

* I understand how card drops typically work in games
* I have played more than 2 hours (155 hours, in fact)
* I have never gotten a card drop for this game
* I have friends on my list who have gotten drops for this game, indicating it does work for some.

After 155 hours of playing Final Fantasy Remake, I went to look at the cards I got from drops. When I initially started playing it stated that I had to play the game for 2 hours to be eligible, and I did verify from Steam's help page that this is a participating game. As mentioned in the summary at the top, I also have friends on my list that have earned card drops from this game with far fewer hours and less progress.

At this point I have received zero drops and the game says I have none remaining. I have only a few rare trophies left to acquire and the hard mode playthrough to do for the final achievements, so it's not making a lot of sense that I have zero drops remaining.

Is this game just bugged on card drops and it's luck of the draw?

Looks like you started playing the game in April of 2024. You're sure you didn't get the cards and forgot about them?

Ask on the game forum. Also, do you use mods? Mods can also mess with card drops alot of times. I am talking from experience from Skyrim.

Positive as I do not sell or trade cards unless I have earned at least level 1 of a badge and I've combed my inventory

I don't mod many titles, and definitely not FF games. I typically only ever use mods on strat games like Stellaris, so that doesn't quite track.

I'll probably just booster pack this one, I have a ton of gems thanks to games like SWTOR where you just keep getting cards the longer you play/subscribe - I was wondering if there were any known issues. I'll follow up in the game specific forum.

Was it the last game that you bought?

If yes, sometimes the badges get stuck, I usually activate some free packages on Steam or SteamDB when that happens or buy some other cheap game in the Store to fix it.

If no and the badge says you have already got the drops, then you must have already gotten them. These are the only options.

Im thinking they just forgot it. Because they played the game in 2024. Im sure they bought games since then. The only other option is that they bought this account from someone else, and that previous person used that account. But then this OP would be calling themself out for doing something illegal on steam. So i am leaning towards they just forgot and made a badge. Easy for OP to see if they made a badge.

The only other issue would be a technical issue, which they can contact steam support for assistance with that part. I never experienced issues with card drops, not even after they added to a game that never had them. So i cannot say for sure about technical issues, but it happens you know.

Also possible, since the artworks seem to have issues too right now.

You can see them, but if you click on them you get an error like "this hub is not available in your region".

True. Even the reviews on curators were having issues recently. I think the new steam ui kinda messed up a bunch of things when it came out.

No, Rebirth was. That's interesting to know though.

Again, no - I can see that I have no badges. This is my original account I would never sell it. I am the only user who uses the name Routhinator on any platform TMK and own the Gamertag everywhere.

There must be a technical issue here. Market history is a thing - you can review all your transactions, and I have done so. No copy of an FFVII Remake Intergrade card has ever been bought or sold by my account. I have no badge for this game, so I clearly have not crafted a badge - additionally, games do not drop 100% of the cards for a badge usually so you'd need to buy the remainder or use booster packs - but again, there would be a badge on my profile at level 1 at least if this occurred.
FWIW - there is also an Inventory history (just found it) - Just found what happened, looks like my son accessed my account last year on my machine and traded the 3 cards off, they were dropped in 2024 <insert picard facepalm>

Now that I've given him ♥♥♥♥ for touching my account - I at least have my answer - off to booster packs I go. Grr.

I'm glad you found the reason.

Stay safe!

Put a password on your pc to prevent this from happening. Windows has a passkey code you can put in when you start your pc up. This will prevent things like this from happening in the future, or i imagine your son will do it again, even if you correct them. People tend to do things over again if they can get away with doing it the first time. Also, check your other games, your son might of done it to more than just that game. Also, im glad you figured it out. You should mark this post as solved.

Oh that's right....
> Oh that's right....

Fair, fair. Though I never actually looked at them so not really "forgetting" per say, but you were on the right track.

We only run Linux here, and I have a password - I just do a lot of docs reading and coding so I tend to have my display auto-lock set for ~30-60 minutes so I don't have to fight the lock activity when I'm sitting back and pondering on something while I read. Not a great setting in hindsight, clearly.

Best to put that auto lock on every 10 minutes if people other than you are using your steam account to be safe. As i said, your child may have also done this to other games on your account, so you may want to check. And keep your password on your pc. I have one and never had any issues with others messing with my pc. I have mutliple people at my house with their own accounts on the pc, and yet never have i had anybody get on my account as i keep passwords active. It really is good to have on your pc.
