TF2 Dedicated Server (Linux) - Server reporting incorrect Public IP to Steam API
I've been trying to make a public TF2 dedicated server that appears in the server browser that runs on my local server, and runs through a proxy server to mask my public IP address and pass traffic through into my server. This works fine, however when starting the server with the flag
+net_public_adr xxx.xx.xxx.xxx
, it still lists that my local network's IP address is being reported to Steam.

Is there a way around this?

Tf2 doesn’t support the +net_public_adr flag, so it always reports the local ip to steam. To show the correct public ip, you’d need to run the server directly on the proxy or fully route traffic through it at the network level.
