Your account is compromised.

Do not trade until your account is secured.

Take the following steps to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware. If you don't have a malware scanner use https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey

Steam does not return inventory items or wallet funds.

Steam Item Restoration Policy

Steam Support does not restore items that have left accounts for any reason, including trades, market transactions, deletions, or gifting.

All purchases are final – you will not have any right to a refund or a reversal of any Community Market transaction once it is completed.

Never enter your Steam login details on a third-party site.

One of your groups advertises such a third-party site.

So... what happened?

Hell week (exams) for me. Been busy studying my ass off. Decided to take a break and practice smoke line ups in CS2. And noticed someone was using my account, playing DBD. I never gave anyone my account, didnt clicked on any links, didnt replied to any one who messaged me, and didnt login into any websites. Hijacker played all of my games CS2, DBD, APEX LEGENDS, GMOD everything at that same day. I changed my password, username (since it changed my original username to DISPLAYER), removed all connected devices despite only having 2 devices (phone for steam guard and PC). This happened the moment i added unknown friends i never played with. 2 strangers to be exact. I unfriended all of my steam friends exept for those i personally know after this happened.

Got a 14 hour global ban in CS2 that same day and vac ban 3 days later in DBD. I stopped playing this game btw for 5 months months.

Please keep it to a single thread.

How do i remove hijackers from my account?

Common sense & awareness of phishing. You need those two things to keep your Steam account (and any other account, for that matter), secure. No tool, not the best 2FA in this world, can replace common sense & awareness of phishing. Tools complement those two, but those two really are the foundation of any solid security strategy. Everything else is a supplement.
