Complaint about Steam service.
@ Steam;

I cannot contact Steam to reset my account. There is no way to actually contact Steam. You run in an endless loop of conflicting ways you be sent to. This is very annoying and it is aswell not what Steam promisses when u are making an account. Despite this; Steam sells hardware aswell too which gets delivered via mail. So why is Steam completely unavailable????

What basically happens here is that i lost my emailadress awhile ago. It was very hard to reset it via Hotmail, so i decided to make a new one. My phonenumber was outdated aswell of which i was unaware of. Im running my gaming via saved password in my computer. But i wanna sort my business, so i decided to go reset it. In case i buy a new pc or wanna login elsewhere.

On the internet they have an older support mailadress which is not used... And they have a post somewhere about "if your account is stolen or hijacked". If you follow the steps there, you STILL run into the loop of having to login whilst you dont have any info that you need to provide to actually be able to make things work. This happens with multiple attempts via the 'support'.

I see that Steam tries very hard to actually NOT answer or put any manpower at work to these kinda struggles which can happen to anyone... Im 40 years old, i have better things to do then sitting on top of this or game each day for tons of hours. It shouldnt be so hard to just deal business when u spent so much money!!

I have just gathered evidence to show to Steam that i'm the account owner but im unable to show this to Steam. Steam does EVERYTHING to not spent a bit of manpower to their customers. For a company that sells hardware aswell this is unacceptable and not even legal...

I dont have a way to contact Steam it seems. So am i now unable to login to my new laptop? Or when i buy another desktop pc i lose my games? Like thousands of euro's in games and addons?

This is unacceptable. I really cannot sent Steam any feedback or to get any help? It's the loop. If this means i will lose my money and games because Steam doesnt offer proper support then i def. consider a lawsuit, and i will report this to authority's. Cus there's rules if you do business in the European Union, the rules in the EU are very strict. I dont see Steam doing it how it has to be done.

@ Steam; Let me know in a way how we can resolve this. Keep in mind that the phonenumber and emailadress are not used. As you can see; it is Steams fault cus i cant contact them. Even the forum is hard to use for this as i cannot share any private info here. But when making a ticket they want me to login... Ridiculously stupid...

Steam Account Recovery

It is possible to recover a lost or stolen Steam account. You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the lost or stolen account for this to work.

The recovery process allows you to contact Steam Support to provide proof of ownership.

Follow this guide to recover your account:

Just made a second post because i didnt knew how to find the old one back. It is VERY frustrating dealing business with Steam. Im thinking about NEVER spending money on Steam anymore. I have to go through 25.000 steps to actually get somewhere. And according to others, they even still are suffering after they done what they had to do. I really dont wish my money to go into the pockets of people that try so hard to not do ANYTHING. It's unacceptable.

I'm thankful for the help you guys gave. But its still very hard to actually get somewhere. My frustration is about Steam, not about the kind souls here. Although many links here don't bring a solution.

They actually help you do recovery process. So unless you're saying you don't know your own steam account login name, then that be another problem you have to figure out to solving the issue. Since you gave up trying to get back your lost email address, and don't have said phone number anymore.

Pro tip, don't make more emails you don't plan to keep track of, or use password manager to help keep track of them. The fewer the emails you use, the easier it is on you to remembering them, and not losing them.

Company's try their very best to not work for the money they earn. It's a game to avoid using as much manpower as possible. That's what i am referring to. Furthermore u make assumptions as if it was an email i have made for short-term use. I have had that e-mail for over 20 years. It's not really helping when they actually work against you. How hard can it be to just be available per mail or phone?? It's millions they earn. Aswell via the SteamDeck. A company earning millions and shipping out hardware to not be available to their customers.

Pro tip: Pay attention to the world around you, it's crazy.

Alright, but again the recovery process been provided.

Recover account process > prove to support ownership > get account back.

If they're giving you a hard time, it's likely either you failing to provide the information they asked, or not explaining things clearly.

And yes there reason why I made said assumption because there are people who goes out of their way to make multiple emails they don't bother keep track.
