Can't boot new game - "Could not connect to steam. Is Steam application running"
Hi All,
Bought a new game last week and I cannot play it. Whenever I try to launch it, I get the opening logo and then the outside of my screen goes green and I get this error message:
"Could not connect to steam. Is Steam application running?" - obviously it is, because I am here...
I have tried this on multiple days and I have done all of the troubleshooting. I have enough RAM to run the game and I have verified the files and cleared the cache. Any other suggestions? I really want to play the game :(

the screen going green might be a graphics driver issue. Since we do not have all the information about your system, I suggest posting it on here to get more help. You can do this by copying the info in system information under help, copy it then paste info on here.
