And it might have a reason - i think a part of the truth comes from possible ingame insulting and kicks/bans etc.

But i can't see a problem in your two other previously used nicknames - nothing obvious insulting/illegal/offending etc.

You can try to contact the steam support, but i think they will tell you the same. But it you succeed, tell us so we dont have to die stupid ^^

Profile names history was added due to abuse from scammers, cheaters, other fauna.
They scammed items from someone, changed profile name, URL and became unsearchable by the victim.
You'll have to live with it. Or try luck with support. But it's very unlikely they agree on removing them.

It appears that if you change your name enough times, your "less used" names will be removed. For a practice Match I was called "DayStar" as a joke. On the team at that time, there is a person called Daystar. The DayStar name and the typo'd name I had for a few hours after that is now gone. My name before I started that match is still on that list.

Is there a limit of how many previous names it will show? If you made 25 new names, would the old or less frequently used ones disappear?

There's also a limit to how many times per day you can change your name. May you never reach that limit.(the name you pick will be what you're stuck with for 24 hours... if you do change it too much).

I support clearing of name history.

I'm against clearing name history for those that used more then 10 names which usually are scammers. i want to delete my history which only has 2 names, because Steam ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my name history up for some reason, only have those two

I was suffering the same thing dude. You can't literally delete your previous aliases names! Instead keep spamming some names after some time, your past names will be unseen. Then all you gotta do is when someone is searching for you then just change the Steam ID. Then your all set! I did this to prevent from immature friends adding me and calling me an a-hole for removing them. I hope this helps :)

I forgot about the character limit, so when I was trying to add Japanese and English it didn't fit and didn't warn me, so I tried to change my name a bunch to make a sentence that filled the list, but then it mixed them up, lol. Then I tried to just switch between my English and Japanese to see if it would add them separately, but it didn't replace the old ones and I hit my limit... xP

Well, now it's super screwed up, hopefully they'll go away, though...
