Ping spikes on stable wired connection only in CS2
Hello there,

Long story short:

So after ~3 years I returned to try new CS2. I know by this time my PC became a potato but I managed to get like 80-120 fps on low res and low settings. Hovewer there's 1 thing I REALLY don't get. I have a stable wired 100 Mbps connection (ethernet -> router -> ISP modem) playing on 13-20ms BUT every 1-2min I get ~180ms lag spikes having me teleporting and stuttering and the game becomes unplayable and unenjoyable. This has never happened before in any other games (including CSGO). I am pretty confident my connection could not be an issue, or is it? A friend of mine told me there's been some update that might cause this behaviour because before the patch I was playing Deathmatch and I got no issues at all. Or some say it's happening only in Premiere games (the one I've been having issues in).

I tried to google and there's really not any fix for me. One thing I have yet to try is something called "Bufferbloat Test". Something related to packet losses.

Also, Performance mode in Graphics settings nor "Buffering to smooth over packet loss" set to 1 packet or 2 packet does not help at all.

Is there anyone having same issues? And have you managed to fix it?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.
