Have to confirm every listing under 1$ on Mobile authenticator
So as the title says. Ive seen that steam implemented that listings under 1$ doesnt need confirmation but still my account needs to confirm it via the authenticator. Which is annoying when selling multiple items, any idea how to get it to work as it should?

To clearify, just want listings under 1$ to go through without having to confirm

There's a limit on how many items can be listed without confirmation in a specific timeframe.
Don't know them out of my head though.

It is working as it should.

If you're just selling a card or emote once in a while, then you'll never see the request to confirm. When you start selling a lot of things in a short time span, the system will want you to confirm all of the listings.

Do as I suggested in another thread. Just let the confirmations queue up for a bit. Don't feel like you have to confirm each listing once you've listed it. The authenticator app will queue all of the confirmations until you're ready to go through them.

Why do you insist on suggesting bad advice?

It not bad advice. People Uninstall it to do this. Lol just because you don't doesn't mean other people don't kid. Quit being rude.

If you haven't had your account protected by a Mobile Authenticator for at least the last 7 days, items leaving your account will be held by Steam for up to 15 days.
How can I remove the need for a trade or market hold?
Trade and market holds are no longer necessary when you protect your account with a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. Using a physical device (your smartphone) to confirm item transactions ensures that you and only you can quickly and securely trade or sell your items. You can get the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. Items will no longer be held after you have had the authenticator enabled for 7 days.
So you want someone to remove their mobile authenticator, have their listings subjected to a 15-day hold, then have them subjected to a 7-day cooldown before their listings are no longer held for 15-days? Just to avoid confirming them?

Well thanks for stating the
obvious and yes. People do that because no one wants to click confirm 24/7. Again not everyone is like you.
And everyone is not like you. If you're going to suggest advice that brings with it negative ramifications, explain them at the time that you are suggesting them.

Not negative lol. You think their negative but their not. So again not everyone is like you. So if your not going to reply nicely don't reply. Not everyone is going to offer same solution as you. Everyone is is different. If you want to be rude then I'll start reporting you each time you reply something rude.

There are negative implications to your suggestion. First, you need to explain how to do it properly or they will be locked out of the market and trading completely, second, trades will be held for 15 days.

Again what you think is negative is not negative to others. So quit trying to argue. Each person is different, each person has different ways of doing things, each person posts different solutions.

1. You don't know if that's negative to OP he might want to trade too.
2. I'm not trying to argue with you, that was my first post in this thread.
3. Other solutions are fine as long as you explain the consequences.

Don't need to explain them when it explains it already in the trade hold faq. But if you want to take the time and explain. That you but not everyone wants to explain that stuff nor has the time to when you can just provide a solution and that's it. Done, nothing else to say.

My computer is recoginzed by Steam Guard... yet a simple reciprocal trade of cards (without any money exchanged) is held for 15 days.

If I log-off / log-on, Steam Guard does not require any new code, as its already recognized.

This is silly. I would have to log-on randomly on a web page to trigger the Steam Guard and stop the 15 days of hold for a free trade of cards or any card sold for 3-5 cents? Logic.

You mean the mobile authenticator?

Both parties need to use it for a trade to be instant. If only you use it the trade will be held.

Currently, Steam on my PC does not ask for a new code as it is already recognized. It is recognized due to past use of Mobile and email. I currently use the email, but it does not ask for any new verification anyhow.

I do not use the Mobile Authenticator anymore. Even if I did, I presume logging-off/logging-on would not trigger a request to use the Mobile Authenticator for your already recognized device.

Maybe I misunderstood the message and Steam means we need to use the Mobile Authenticator (even if the device is already recognized) to have trade work in the less paranoid mode.

If you want instant trades you need to use the mobile authenticator:
