My guess is because you no longer "borrow" the library of another user but all users in a family use a shared library with no separation.
If you look at shared games in your library you will see that it also will not tell you from which user the game is, just " From your Steam Family" .
The only time you see owner names is when the family owns two different versions of the same game, with different DLC. In that case you can switch your "preferred version" so you can choose which DLC are available when you play.
