STEAM, WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DUN TO MY COMPUTER???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
ok hi. lett me tell you a story that you BETHER READ! I have had problems with nmm (nexus mod manager) in the last two months now. I have wanted mods on fallout 4. So the nmm program didnt work for me, so I had downloaded mods in the fallout 4 folder as this guys does: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZpIQ6P38xE so i did. the mods didnt show up. what did I do then? I placed the hole steam folder out of the programfiles as the guys says in the video. When I did my games only crashed, and recomended to go here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8676-EFLX-7453 so I did and did what the page sayed me to do. Delete the 'appcache' folder. what happend now you may ask?

STEAM DOWNLOADS EVERY THING WITH STEAM TO DO! ALL THE FILES, ALL THE GAMES, EVERY THING TO MY DESKTOP! AFTER THAT IT FAILS AGAIN AND REDOWNLOADS EVERY THING AGAIN, AND AGAIN!

YOU BETHER HELP ME WITH THIS! AM ♥♥♥♥ING ANGRY AND AM NEVERY USALY ARE BUT THIS TOK THE ♥♥♥♥ING CAKE!

Ok sorry for this but, LOLOLOL. You really should understand WHAT you are doing when you are doing it instead of blindly following instructions off of a youtube video. IDK how to fix this problem and I don't have time to figure it out right now, but just keep that in mind in the future.

Not Valve's problem. Steam didn't do anything to your computer. YOU did.

Ok, delete the local content by right clicking from your games library re-install the game.

No it wasn't. It was YOU moving the location of the Steam folder that did it.

A backup is when you make a copy of the file(s) in case something goes wrong, and you put that backup typically in a different location where you can get it easily

I'm tempted to give you instructions to fix it, but given your current success rate of following those, better not. Bring someone else in to fix it.

nono that's not the issue. I have the files from *the last steam* but when I open steam It redownload new files every time. thats the issue and what I need help with!
