Well the Ark Steam forums, where presumably most of the users are running the game and may be knowledgeable about common issues would be a better choice methinks.

My thinking is when you have game specific issues, go to where the players of that game are rather than a random general forum where only some minority play the game.

Maybe it's a hardware malfunction.
