Item disappeared from market and inventory after listing

Item disappeared from market and inventory after listing

I decided to list a case on the market, however upon confirming the listing in the steam app, it proceeded to be removed from my inventory but NOT listed. It currently shows that I have 0 active listings, and I have no way to cancel the listing to retrieve the item. I thought maybe waiting would resolve it but no luck.

I don't understand why this happened because as you can see in the image below, I'd listed and sold one successfully a week before.

Have you checked your market history?

Where can I see my Community Market transactions?

Your Community Market history is accessible from the top of the Community Market home page, as well as from your Account Details page in the Steam Store. A receipt for each transaction will also be emailed to you.

Yeah I thought that originally so I gave it 24/48 hours, but it’s been over a week now...

Have you tried searching it up, clicking on it, scroll down and its there? It happened to me before too recently

Yeah I have, unfortunately no luck. It doesn't even show the individual listing for cs2 cases, probably because there are way too many.

I hadn't actually, but yeah that also confirms it was listed.

By all means it appears to have definitely been listed, I just can't view/cancel it??

Have you checked your Steam Wallet? Maybe it has already been sold.

You should contact Steam support if your item is nowhere to be found.

I got same issue, i put a music kit to sell, created a listing and now i can't find it on my sell listings, any idea of how can i get my item back?

I dunno man, it eventually reappeared. I can't remember how long after, but it did. Unfortunately you'll probably just have to wait :/

same problem September 2025

edit : turns out i check it on the item itself on the market but it is still listed there. i removed it and it pops up back on my inventory
