Clicking "Enter chat room" on a steam group does not work

Clicking "Enter chat room" on a steam group does not work

This is happening for all groups. I am using the Steam Client Desktop app. I am not banned in the groups that I am trying to and I am a member of the groups I am trying to. I have noticed it works on web browser but when I click it on the app it does not work. Anyone know how to fix this or if it's a bug?

To enter the group chat, click the button to join the chat in a real browser.

It's been broken for months in the client.

I've noticed Youtube doesn't embed either but on Mobile it does, same with images. Why is this?
