Purchased completionist showcase, isn't on my profile.

Hi! So the completionist showcase doesn't seem to be showing up on my profile even though I have a perfect game.

It kinda sucks because I spent 3,000 of my Steam Points on it :(

I think you didn't "purchase" the showcase itself, you just upgraded the showcase. And you need to be at least level 10 to set up any showcase.

I may be wrong, though.

No, I did buy it. I think that since the showcase didn't show up when I got all the achievements for the game, I thought I had to buy it. Silly mistake on my part, but still doesn't explain why there is no showcase at all.

You have to be level 10 to unlock showcases. As said above, I'm pretty sure the points shop is for showcase upgrades or additions where you can have one more of existing ones unlocked or the extended versions of them.

Dang, I'm at level 7 right now. Seems a bit odd that they would let you upgrade a showcase you don't even have access to. Is there any way I could get my steam points refunded?

I'm afraid not but the upgrade will be available for when you reach level 10. Complete the Community badge tasks if you can which will net you another 300xp and get you over the line.

As said here, you need to be level 10 to unlock the showcase, once there, you can set it on "modify my profile" menu. You will get one very 10 levels.
