doing this you have the settings again to disable

It's really ♥♥♥♥ that not only does steam not permit to disable notifications for individual groups (i mean i would like them to appear on my homepage but maybe not ping me every 5 damn minutes) but now they altogether forgot to provide a solution to disable the notifications.

this setting will be added again, relatively soon.

you can manually set it, either by reverting temporarily to the old ui and set it, or via editing you sharedconfig file in your accounts userdata folder.

I am using the up-to-date steam UI and the settings menu still does not have notifications section added, the post by Ren~ seemed to have worked, waiting to see if i get more notifications but so far seems good

1. go to the friends list spot. you will see your friends ingame and online.

2. then go to your name with the little drop down arrow next to it. click that

3. then check do not desturb.

4. all notifications will be turned off.

how to turn them off individually isn't a feature anymore as far as it looks like. but i hope this helps!

5. Uncheck Group Events and Announcements

It doesn't work anymore, things changed a bit.

I'm getting notifications only from the latest group I've joined.
