"Inappropriate" Avatar :: Help and Tips

"Inappropriate" Avatar

My Profile Icon / Avatar was removed by a Steam Cummunity Leader or whatever the idiots name is. My Avatar was not offensive in any way. There are hundreds of people who have nude profiles full of anime and pornography. There is no reason for me to have a ban on my profile because my Avatar was "inappropriate"

OK. Yeah, I make my own stuff too. That's pretty messed up that Steam would do that given all the other porn crap.

I have posted some artwork that other people made / took screenshots of (GTA V) but I asked them if I could post it and they agreed yes I may post it. But that has nothing to do with my icon.

Agreed. I googled your image and it seems to support that you did make it. I see no other instances of the art.

Better take a look at the community rules, if your removed profile pic falls under any of the "off-limit" topics, perhaps this is the answer. Why a random profile pic got removed is beyond me, specially when bunches of other profiles contain pornographic, gory, violence-inciting as avatars or artwork seem not be drawing any attention from Steam's censoring system.

Reminds me when I was reported for DMCA violation on a certain site for reposting art from a deviantart profile - which profile was mine too.

Well yeah, I don't really see a issue with that avi. My melon breasted anime avatars are quite a tad more provocating, yet I live by.
