I own a game which gives 5 card drops in total. I had only play 0.4 hours and got 3 cards of it, so steam said I had 2 drops remaining out of 5. I've been playing for a while only to get the remaining drops, but now I have 6 hours of playtime and still 2 drops remaining, why am I not getting more cards? Did steam change any feature of drops or something?

So, the game has 10 cards in total to craft the badge?

Which game?

Did you happen to mark the game as private?

Yes, it's marked as private. I don't remember if it was private when got the first 3 cards, I think it wasn't. Does this affect some way?

Yeah marking it private can prevent the cards to drop.

What does "Mark Private" on a game do?

In general, marking a game as private will cause the game to appear to other users on the Steam platform as if you did not own it at all. If a game is marked as private:
  • You will not receive Steam Trading Cards for the game while it is marked as Private.

Steam Private Games FAQ

They should drop when you unprivate the game and upon opening the game again.

I think in this case it should be *what game?* and not "which game".
Because you don't know at all what game it is.

You would use "Which game" if you have for example a list of games to pick from.

That list being the Steam store…

I see they have 35 games but play time is not public therefore, which one of the 35 specifically?
