Thank you for the thought I just cannot believe Steam allows this kind of trash on there game service for what more bottom line profit?

You have to willingly and knowingly turn on the setting that allows you to see porn games on Steam. There is simply put, literally no other way than logging into someone else's account with the setting turned on. It is off by default.

Go to your store preferences, remove the tick from the bottom options for content and your problem is solved. Since you can see games with explicit sexual content means that you enabled to view them MANUALLY. Steam isn't promoting those games, it's merely displaying them to people who manually turned on the option to be able to see them.

Children cannot see adult content by default. Go turn on the adult content filter you turned off.

Steam is not meant for children. First part of the agreement people are supposed to read when making an account and every time they buy a game specifically states this.

If parent's don't want their teenagers, who are allowed to use Steam with their consent, to see such content, they can set up parental filters. Further to that, such content is filtered out of the store by default; people have to opt in to see it.

If that content offends them, they should immediately opt out of seeing it and forget it exists.

Shame someone gave this bad take an award. It didn't deserve that much.

If their accounts are set up properly, children can’t see ANY adult content. Adult content is turned off by default for ALL users. You have to “opt-in” to see it at all. You can stop clutching your proverbial pearls pretending this has anything at all to do with children and just go manually turn adult content back off for yourself if you’re going to be mad about adult content that doesn’t cater directly to your tastes-which seems to be your real complaint here-because if it was about children, I’d hope you wouldn’t want them seeing ANY adult games.

why is this ♥♥♥♥ in top of seles and It's advertised in almost every category, but it doesn't have enough reviews to be at the top. ? ( Futa femboy afbetures or somthing) Corrupt Steam sales managers... and I would dare to say that the game is pretty second-rate, and it doesn't qualify for an AAA+ project

If people are seeing stuff like 'Futa Femboys' isn't that just the algorithm going off your previous searches and purchases?

That only works if
A Steam is willing to curate the bad actors who purposefully mis label then edit their products after initial review is done

or

B All Independents list their products in good faith

EDIT it only takes one to ruin it for everybody.. .. I would bet $ whatever complaints the CC companies recieved were involving those and valves inability/unwillingness to filter correctly

they aren't being advertised to children, children cannot even see adult games

Thank you for all these great comments I would have never known about this adult filter except for my turning to the store page and seeing this disgusting game Futa Femboys and i am sure I did not change my adult filter and have no answer to why it was on but now that I do know I will fix it.

But I have to wonder how many young children looking over there older friends shoulders see this kind of filth on the Steam gaming service ? Steam just needs to get rid of all this type of content and make sure the Adult filter cannot be turned off.
