I can't buy stuff on steam anymore

So today I attempted to buy Space Marine 2.

In order to do so, I typed in my new credit card's information, and the security code, then entered two passwords to access the banking app on my cell phone in oder to verify the purchase. Then steam asked me to enter a 6-figure password. I have a 4-figure password for my credit card and a 5-figure password for my banking account. But I have no idea what that new password is or how I get it. Steam says I can select it myself, which I tried, to no avail.

I then tried to set up a PayPal account. Long story short, after hours of trying, I did not succeed because I do not get the final confirmation email. To none of my three working email accounts.

I just can't do this anymore. I spend my life typing passwords into cell phones and computers and nothing works. I hate the modern world and want the 19th century back.

Contact Steam Support.

Also, the 19th century is 1800-1899.

Who wouldn't want to return to the 20th century?

World War I, chemical warfare, the Great depression, dictatorships, World War II, The Spanish Flu, The Holocaust, USSR, reoccurring famine, genocide and civil war in many parts of the world and natural disasters, the Cold War, HIV and AIDS epidemic, terrorisms, etc.

And for the 21th century's sake, I'm darned glad that most likely you're being prevented from using your credit card to buy stuff on Steam. Instead try using a debit card, which in the longer run of things will be far more cost efficient to your wallet as well (i.e., no loan's rate having to be paid afterwards).

And also for the record, this nearly 50 years old user never had an issue acquiring stuff upon Steam using both e-banking systems on my smartphone, although I honesly prefer when they simply go without those to cut any eventual middle man's shannannigans.
