I have to argue that I'm not a huge fan of MMO games
In the last few hours I've noticed that New World Online reviews are going wild, with reason, because of Amazon decision to shutdown the game
As far as I perceived the last expansion has been appreciated, and in general New World is one of the most popular MMORPGs on Steam
I think that, in case you decide to buy NWO assets, it can be a good long term investment for Valve
Since the game is about to be closed you can try to buy the IP for a relatively low price, the devteam can be integrated within Valve (at least partially), and Valve won't even need to make a future World of Dota (yep this last phrase is sarcastic, but details)
I think another liveservice game apart from CS2, TF2, Dota 2, Deadlock etc can be healthy for Valve in this particular moment
Sorry for proposing something so strange, I just thought that an acquisition like this can be healthy for both sides
