Dota 2 Missing from Steam Library and Playtime Not Showing on Profile
Hey everyone,
I’ve recently noticed that Dota 2 is no longer showing up in my Steam library. It’s completely gone — I can’t find it under installed or uninstalled games. On top of that, my playtime for Dota 2 doesn’t appear on my Steam profile anymore, even though I’ve played hundreds of hours before.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a fix? I’ve already tried restarting Steam, verifying files, and reinstalling, but nothing changed. Any help would be appreciated! :KnightBeer:

Are you logged in to the correct account?

Check your hidden games list:

Do you have any games hidden?

If you are still missing any games, check to see if any have been added to your hidden list. You can view this list by selecting View > Hidden Games at the top of the Steam client.

To remove any game from this list: Right-click the game > select Manage > Remove from Hidden.

It's not a secret, dude. I re-downloaded the game and it showed up in my library and recently played games, but not in the section where all my games are displayed. I checked the profiles of my friends who play Dota, and most of them have this problem. Only a few don't have it, and when I go to their "All My Games" section and select "Show Only Games I Own," Dota 2 disappears. It's as if I don't even own Dota 2. That's weird. Maybe it's a common problem.

the game acts like it's a game from the family library.
