thoughts about mobile gaming today?
Is it only me ...

What do you PC platform users think about the play/apple store today, in general? If I'm a stranger who ask you what do you think about the state of the mobile game industry...

The same thing I've always thought about it... Not even worth me looking at it. That's definitely not my definition of "gaming".
Simply a money pit
You mean Mobile scamming right.
"Free games! He he he, thank you!"
Used to play mobile games. Nearly all of them suck.
A vast majority of younger people are mobile gamers and don't consider themselves gamers.
sucks and always has
I have zero use for mobile games. Generally speaking, even with undeniable utility, I despise the devices. I wont game on one, I wont shop on one.
Same I always thought about it. It has some fun games. I refuse to pay for the MTX, though.
I play 1 mobile game (and will play it's sequel after I finish the main story). Outside of that, I am not too interested.
I am semi playing a mobile game but I'm thinking about quitting. It feels a little punishing if you don't check in regularly and I don't like to feel obligated in that way with a game.

My primary experience with mobile games was playing them in order to get gift cards.

It would be nice if Steam added some functionality so that you could play VNs you bought through steam on your phone through the mobile app somehow.

But that's pretty much the extent of it.
Tried it once and never again.

There's one or two okay games in a large pile of crap that's basically advertisement apps with a few seconds of playing in between.
Not interested in mobile games, even if there were some good games with non-predatory monetization.
Screen too small, controls bad, forces bad posture. I don't count that as gaming. That's something you do to waste time while waiting for someone or something and not as a hobby to enjoy.
