Amazon and SSD Hard drives
The other day my main SSD hard drive went belly up. I went to Amazon and purchased a 990 EVO Plus. When I went to install it Windows 11 said invalid Serial Number. So I contacted Samsung support and they could not find the serial number in their system. They decided that it was a knockoff. So I went back to Amazon as the drive was only 2 weeks old. So does anyone remember (Amazon Warehouse) well they have changed the name to (Amazon Resale). the items they sale are Pre-Owned, Used or open box. The difference was only $6.00 and I don't buy used computer parts. Amazon said they were sorry! But that it comes from Amazon Resale is only listed in one place on the advertisement and its very small and it does not say it's used or Pre-owned. The other thing people need to know is that it only has a 30 day warranty and there is no Manufactures warranty. So Buyer Beware!!!
