Recently I turned on Family View for a younger family member. However, I thought I would just keep it enabled for the next time they want to play. I wanted to check my controller mapping for a game, but it would crash instantly. Trying to see the controller options in Big Picture Mode gave me this error message[imgur.com].
When I decided to completely disable Family View, the menu was working again and I could check my controller inputs through steam normally.
